Last week, I had a family member reach out to me.
                                                                                                                              She left me a somewhat terse message- to
call her back.
                                                                                                                            Immediately, I called her back-
only to get her voicemail.
I left her a message- but then this happened:
The wild river of my brain was activated.
I started to make up stories in my head of why she called me.
"Did I do something wrong?" "Is she mad at me?" "Is there bad news?"
And so, the brain continued its wild ride until she called me back-
to say that she was so excited to refer a co-worker to me for Life Coaching.
Sigh.
                                                                                                                                          How often does this happen to you?
Your brain makes up stories, passes judgment, presents false worries..
the list goes on.
                                                                                                                                 🌹🌹🌹
I was reminded recently, by a longtime Reiki client of how, back in 2009,
I had the following printed on business cards and I used to pass them out in my old shop.
The card read:

STOP

BREATHE

RE-ORIENT

This week, I encourage you to bring your attention back to the present moment.
Be aware of your thoughts, yet don't get caught up in them.
Keep returning to the breath, the heart, the moment.
🔥That's what mindful living is all about.🔥
PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT AND STOP, BREATHE and RE-ORIENT!
Place your hand on your heart
and affirm the life force
within you....
Know that you are so much more than this
Life is meant to be lived, the fullness, the depth, the whole enchilada!
