“I learned a long time ago the wisest thing I can do
is to be on my own side"

This past week has taught me so much about the importance
of self-compassion, self love, and self care.
You might remember my story a few weeks ago
about the 86 y,o at the Senior Living center-
how she found her "Compassionate Self" during
the Meditation and Sound Journey I led back in January.
Well, this past week, I was there again-
doing the same program- and once again;
at the end- she stood up and shared.
SHE SAID:
"Last month, I found my compassionate self- and 2 days
after the meditation; I wasn't feeling well-
in the old days, I would have ignored it;
but my "compassionate self" spoke up and I called the Dr-
and next thing I knew, they were doing a life-saving procedure!
I'm SO HAPPY I listened to my compassionate self"

This story warms my heart and illuminates for us WHY
it is so important to listen to that inner voice.
Not that inner critic, the voice that is harsh, loud or demanding-
but that
INNER VOICE
that is soft, gentle and often speaks in whispers.
(sometimes we barely hear it)
Learning how to discern the difference is
such an important skill!
Have a great week filled with LOVE, PEACE, JOY
and
Happy Valentine's Day! 💖💖💖
